Gottfried & Somberg Wealth Management LLC Glastonbury, Connecticut
This 3 story 20,048 SF office building is located off Route 2 in downtown Glastonbury, CT. This is a slab on grade 1st floor and Slab on Deck for the 2nd and 3rd floors. A Boston Blend Veneer stone to 9’ wraps the first floor exterior with James Hardie lap siding on the rest of the building. Aluminum wrapped wood windows by Marvin compliment the exterior finish. The 3rd floor offices contain high end finishes and will be the owners build out.
This addition is a full size 24,000 sq ft steel framed Gymnasium which includes wood courts and bleachers up through a mezzanine level. Construction also includes four classrooms, restrooms, lobby/display areas and support spaces.
Public Safety Complex Impound Garage East Hartford, Connecticut
This complex is a 12,489 sq. ft. pre-engineered Varco-Purden steel garage structure.
The town of East Hartford will use this facility to hold impounded vehicles and house equipment of the Fire and Police departments.

United Ag & Turf East Windsor, Connecticut
United Ag & Turf opened their new facility in Fall 2022.This new construction project is 27,000 sq ft Pre-engineered Metal Building.
The East Windsor facility serves as both a retail and service center. Also erected is a new 6,000 sq ft storage building. There is a machinery display area and a Child size retail John Deere section for the youngsters.
Burlington Stores Cromwell, Connecticut
The new Burlington Store in the Cromwell Square Plaza opened this past holiday season showcasing a clean updated look inside and out.
This 25,000 sq ft building has added a new loading dock and interior modifications. A new stone front parapet with Nachia siding and EFIS with stone wainscot provide detail to enhance the exterior. This former K-Mart store project took about 5 months to renovate/remodel.

Trader Joe’s Glastonbury, Connecticut
The popular supermarket chain Trader Joe’s is open. This 12,000 sq ft store features exterior upgrades, siding and new awnings. Exterior work included a new employee and customer parking lot, a loading dock addition
and an enclosed refuge storage area. Other exterior work included the widening of Sycamore Street to accommodate traffic flow.
OSF Flavors Windsor, Connecticut
A thirty year old International company with branches in Europe, Asia, East Africa and USA hired Orlando Annulli & Sons Inc to break ground on a planned 44,ooo square foot addition to their
existing facility in Windsor, CT. The new addition created additional warehouse space and a two-story R & D Pilot plant and office area. The building features designs from Russel & Dawson A/E out of East Hartford CT and Epstein Global of Chicago IL.
Wells Turner Library Glastonbury, Connecticut
The design for the Welles-Turner Memorial Library is fresh and modern, while retaining historical and traditional elements that carefully knit the building into the existing contextual fabric of the town. With deference to the original building, which was constructed on the site of the former home of the library’s original benefactor, Harriet Welles Turner Burnham, the addition exterior is clad with materials reminiscent of the Town’s rural past, such as stone walls and board siding. Modern windows and skylights, connect the interior to the surroundings.
East Point Business Center Manchester, Connecticut
This office facility conveniently located off I-84 was completed in 1989. It has evolved into a primarily medical building. A 3 floor building highlighted by a 3 story atrium lobby with 44,460 sq. ft. brick and steel construction. Convenient under building parking garage.
Hartford HealthCare Manchester, Connecticut
The Hartford HealthCare/Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Treatment Center at 376 Tolland Turnpike, Manchester, is a 37,600 SF standalone structure featuring a 2-story atrium centered between the second and third floors. Decorative glass and ornamental metal low railings protect the opening to view the second floor. The 3rd floor has a self-contained pharmacy, 15 infusion stations and a rooftop garden that is easily accessible for patients and staff. Clerestory windows provide abundant natural light to the space. The 2nd floor houses exam rooms along with physician and administrative support offices. These spaces include custom millwork and upscale flooring and wall finishes. The state of the art mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection system is backed by a 513 KVA amp generator.
Salvation Army Manchester, Connecticut
OAS completed an addition and certified historic renovation to a Salvation Army church facility on Main Street, Manchester, CT. The citadel is a 3-story building with the nave at street level. The first (lower) level includes a full service commercial kitchen, athletic area and locker rooms. The 3rd floor houses the Salvation Army administrative offices. The building additions connected to the adjacent buildings in order to increase the size to its maximum.
The focal point of the building is a spectacular, large, round stained glass window that the Salvation Army had custom crafted for the project. When viewed from Main Street, the building appears to be all original.
South United Methodist Church Manchester, Connecticut
Upgrading this stately landmark stone church at the end of Main Street, Manchester was a unique project. The elevator addition and accessible ramps to serve 4 floors was done while occupied.
The elevator features openings from different sides to access the existing wing, which involved penetrating the deep stone walls. Native stone and precast assured seamless architecture.
United Services Care Mansfield, Connecticut
This 36,000 SF wood framed 3 story community resource facility has board and baton siding and a pitched shingle roof line. The building was designed to be energy efficient including geothermal heating and cooling with a solar roof panel system feeding back to the Utility Co. Thermal and air-leakage tests were quoted as “beyond exceptional” by the Project Engineer. The interior is beautifully finished for patient care and consulting spaces, offering a clean, welcoming environment. The landscaped site has 142 parking spaces, vehicle charging stations and bus access. Underground site filtration systems protects the watershed areas.
